DaVinci Resolve / OFX Installation (Windows)
=============================================

This file covers DaVinci Resolve and other OFX hosts. Installing for Adobe
After Effects or Premiere Pro instead? See README_ADOBE.txt - that is a
separate plugin file installed to a different location.

IMPORTANT - DO THIS BEFORE EXTRACTING
Windows blocks files downloaded from the internet, and a blocked plugin
will not load:
  1. Right-click the ZIP you downloaded and choose Properties.
  2. Tick "Unblock" at the bottom, then click OK.
  3. Now extract the ZIP.
If you already extracted it without unblocking, delete the extracted
folder, unblock the ZIP, and extract again.

TO INSTALL
  1. Quit DaVinci Resolve completely.
  2. In the extracted folder, find this folder (it sits beside the
install-info folder you are reading this in):
        color_halftone.ofx.bundle
  3. Copy THE ENTIRE FOLDER into:
     C:\Program Files\Common Files\OFX\Plugins\
Windows will ask for administrator approval - click Continue.
  4. Clear Resolve's OFX cache - see the download page above for the exact
files, or simply restart Resolve twice if the effect does not appear.
  5. Launch DaVinci Resolve. The effect appears in the OpenFX panel under
     "Academy VFX".

LICENSING
The effect renders with a watermark until this machine is licensed. Open
the effect's licensing controls and use "Download License" (or "Check
License" after a purchase) to activate. Licensing is per machine and
shared across hosts.
